The True Essence of Valentine's Day

Since Valentine's Day is near approaching and everyone is buzzing about it and excited about especially those who are in love and couples. The day is the day of exchanging flowers, cards, sentiments accompanied with feelings of admiration, affection and at times infatuation! On this day couples put their best foot forward.

The excitement, the romance, the love is on a high. But hold on, what about the singles then? LIKE ME.  Being dateless in Valentine's Day doesn't mean you have to be alone and lonely, but being dateless on Valentine's Day often invoke feelings of loneliness especially for the people who are believers of true love. It is a human tendency to get a sting of jealousy when you are facing the blues of being single while others sinking into the passion of love and desire. But, is love supposed to be only between two individuals who are romantically involved? The answer is NOWe should keep in mind that love is for all of us. Love, is an emotion so strong, it makes an individual complete. Your parents love you, your friends love you, and what else do you need? Spend time with them, have fun with them, go out for a dinner with them. Make them feel how special they are for you and how thankful you are to have them in your life.

Take this day as just another holiday, go out with friends, go for shopping, dress to kill and let the people wonder why she is still single. Don’t define yourself by your relationship status, have the guts to say that you are single by choice, for you are waiting for you’re Mr. Right and you won’t settle for any one who comes your way.

Love is all around us. Everybody loves to be loved. So what if you are single, take this opportunity to thank each and everyone who has come into your life and made it worth living. Go out with your friends, your family, for you will cherish these moments for the rest of your life.

THINGS TO DO ON VALENTINE'S DAY:

1.  Watch a chick flick romantic movie with your girlfriends who are much happy to be with you on V-Day. You can even have a movie marathon.
2. Go out with friends. Have fun. Shopping. :)
3. Eat a delicious food that will make you happy. Don't forget the dessert.
4. Go for a massage. It's time to pamper yourself.
5. Get away. Go to a beach with friends. Enjoy!

That's all I can come up with. I'm not a romantic person actually.
Thank you. Don't forget to greet your love ones.

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY! :)

xoxo,
Naya
